Part-Time Deputy Project Manager   

b.creative – the dynamic global network of cultural and creative entrepreneurs set up in 2016– is on the lookout for an inspiring deputy project manager. This role is your opportunity to help shape the network, grow its membership, initiate and manage exciting international projects, and foster a thriving community of innovators. 

The candidate would start ideally in December 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter. 

b.creative’s mission is to cultivate a dynamic platform where members can freely exchange ideas, forge collaborations, and drive societal transformation. To bring this vision to life, we embark on a range of initiatives including organizing international events. Since 2016 we’ve show-cased b.creative in Namur, Shanghai, Seoul, Zagreb, Saint Petersburg and Dakar, though match-making sessions, online webinars, and challenges for creative change-makers.

Responsibilities: 

Working very closely with b.creative advisory board and secretary general (SG);
the deputy manager will:

  • Support the SG in managing the association and its activities 
  • Actively engage with b.creative members, grow the network and develop new service offerings.
  • Manage participation in European and national-level calls for proposals and tendering processes.
  • Foster relationships and collaborations between b.creative and its members, ensuring smooth engagement within the network.
  • Oversee community development, both online and offline, through interactive engagement activities.
  • Assist with financial management and administrative tasks 

Profile:

  • Pro active personality with strong interest in international issues and intercultural dialogue
  • Intrinsic motivation to foster the interest of culture and creative entrepreneurs
  • Completed a higher education master’s degree, preferably in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Management, Arts & Culture)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in association management, community engagement.
  • Experience in capacity building for cultural workers, fundraising and / or business development is a plus.  
  • Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills in English (fluency in French is a plus).
  • Proficient in tools and platforms such as Mailchimp, Typeform, Canva or Figma, and WordPress.
  • Organized individual with a sense of responsibility and problem-solving skills with a strong team spirit.
  • Based in or willing to live in Belgium.
