HEAD OF YOUTH POLICY AND ENGAGEMENT, THE ROUNDHOUSE

The Roundhouse is a hub of inspiration in London Camden where artists and emerging talent create extraordinary work and where young people can grow creatively as individuals. The Roundhouse gives young people the chance to engage with the arts through music, media and performance projects, to inspire them to reach further, dream bigger, and achieve more.
There is a dedicated creative centre for young people aged 11 to 25 to take part in projects or use the studios independently as an emerging artist member. The Roundhouse offers professional development opportunities for young people in the creative industries and is working towards opening a workspace for young creative entrepreneurs (18-30 years).
As the Head of Youth Policy and Engagement at the Roundhouse, Emma Gould leads in youth strategy, policy, safeguarding, youth engagement and youth governance. She oversees the youth programme which annually works with over 4000 young people both in the UK and internationally.
Prior to the Roundhouse she worked in local government for 4 years, most of which was spent working in Children’s Education and Social services, particularly around inclusion and alternative education.
