b.creative is launching a monthly Capacity Building series to strengthen the skills and resilience of our members. Each session focuses on concrete challenges faced by cultural and creative professionals and offers both expert input and peer exchange.

Our first series is dedicated to Financing Options for Creative Entrepreneurs, delivered across three interlinked sessions.

    • Session 1 – 8 October, 15:00 CET (90 minutes, online)
Led by Arthur Le Gall, Managing Director of KEA, this opening session will map the financing landscape for creative entrepreneurs. Starting from participants’ business models, financial needs, and short- to mid-term objectives, the session provides a comparative overview of grants, loans, equity, and other financing solutions. We will discuss their advantages, limitations, and suitability, before engaging participants in a conversation on which options are most relevant for their organisational contexts.

    • Sessions 2 & 3 – dates to be confirmed
Building on the choices made in Session 1, these sessions will take a deeper dive into selected financing instruments. Each will include:

      • detailed presentations of specific options (e.g. grant schemes, loan conditions, equity models)
      • real-world examples and case studies
      • interactive discussions on how to approach funders, prepare applications, and pitch effectively
      • tailored advice (individual or group, depending on the number of participants)
      • a collective wrap-up to consolidate lessons learned and develop practical roadmaps for future financing strategies.

Participation is free for b.creative members, but registration is required by 8th October. The link to join the workshop will be sent to all registered participants.
